What is Coze

Coze is ByteDance’s platform for building AI bots and applications. You configure conversation flows, knowledge bases, plugins, and multi-turn logic in a visual UI, then ship agents for support, sales, tutoring, automation, and more to the web, WeChat, Feishu, and other channels.

Core capabilities

• Bot building: Define persona, instructions, and knowledge base to control the bot’s role and response style.
• Workflows: Use nodes to orchestrate conditions, branches, API and database calls for complex processes.
• Plugins and multi-modal: Connect search, calendar, docs, and other plugins; support text, image, and table I/O.
• Publish and operate: One-click publish as a standalone page, embedded widget, or Feishu/WeChat integration; view usage and chat logs.
